Let your
creativity ROAR!

We facilitate youth-led creative workshops that foster expression, inspire leadership, and promote inclusivity in your school or community group.

Together, we co-create in ways that do more than beautify shared spaces, we share stories, unite people and spark real connection.

Our workshops foster inclusivity, celebrate diversity and inspire change by empowering young people to shape their schools and broader environment.

We don’t teach art.
We create space.

Our programs use creative processes as accessible, non-threatening ways for young people to communicate, connect and be heard. Designed for all young people, not just the “artistic” ones, our work centres participation, agency and expression, creating experiences young people genuinely want to be part of.

This approach supports wellbeing, confidence and participation, particularly for young people who may struggle with traditional or verbal forms of engagement.

Creative activity is used as a communication tool, not a skill-building exercise. It allows young people to contribute safely, at their own pace, without pressure to perform or be “good at art”.

What We Offer

  • Empowering young voices through co-designed murals and temporary installations that reflect their stories and creativity.

  • Projects that use art as a tool for social change, raising awareness on key issues that your students or school have assigned.

  • Engaging students in creative projects that contribute to community well-being with themes such as mindfulness and environmental action.

  • Collaborating with key speakers and local groups to design and execute public art that reflects and responds to their stories and our shared experiences.

  • Advising on how to effectively fund and manage community art projects with lasting impact.

Every Roar Collective program is process-led

Our creative outcome is shaped by the students, the setting and the purpose of the project.
Outputs may be temporary or permanent, visual or strategic, physical or digital.

What matters is that student voice is made visible in a way that’s meaningful to the school community.

Youth Leadership

Our mission is to shape meaningful change from the ground up by empowering young people to co-design and co-create projects in their own schools or community spaces.

Collaboration is Key

We believe that meaningful public art begins (and ends) with collaboration. From idea to execution, we work alongside young people to bring their ideas to life.

Inclusivity is Our Jam

We work with all age groups and abilities, including differently abled and culturally diverse. Inclusivity is a commitment, particularly for those “uncreative” types, with no prior painting experience required.

We lead from behind so others can shine.

We lead by guiding from behind, offering our skills and experience, but letting the community shape the final outcome. It’s not just about the finished piece; it’s about the journey we take together, the connections we make, and the impact that lasts long after the project is done.

“I believe this mural workshop gave the participants a great sense of accomplishment and belonging…”
