Creative Youth Workshops that Empower & Inspire
Young people are facing record levels of stress, disconnection and screen fatigue. Creativity offers a way to reconnect with themselves, collaborate with each other, and take pride in shaping something tangible for their broader community.
That’s where we come in.
The ROAR! Collective helps teachers, youth workers and community leaders to engage meaningful, youth-led creative projects that leave a lasting impact.
Each project is more than the outcome, it’s a collective act of change. When we create together, we all become part of something bigger: a movement of young voices shaping their world.
What young people gain
A safe way to express ideas and experiences
Confidence to contribute and be heard
Stronger connection to peers and place

Step 1: Choose a Theme
-
Promoting mental health and emotional well-being through mindful art-making, participants learn mindfulness techniques by creating a calming artwork that enhances their environment and supports community cohesion. Particularly beneficial for at-risk youth and those needing support.
-
This theme engages students in climate or environmental issues through creative activism. Participants explore expressive themes and celebrate aligned values, culminating in artwork that advocates for - or celebrates - change and raises awareness.
-
This theme shares stories and experiences to foster dialogue and connection among students. Students develop storytelling skills, creating a mural that visually captures their collective narratives and promotes resilience. Great for LBGTQI+, Diversity, cultural values or local hero’s and geological features.
-
Empowering community through leadership training and collaborative mural creation. Participants engage with local hero’s where possible, developing skills and confidence while creating an artwork or collective creation that reflects their stories and leadership journey.
-
Structuring projects around significant calendar events (e.g., Earth Day, Science Week, International Women’s Day). Participants create artwork that celebrates the day’s theme, fostering awareness, community spirit and awareness.
